Today my holiday posts continue with some of my favorite holiday decor ideas for your home! I love holiday decor because there is so much you can do to tailor it to fit your personal design style and make it your own. Take a look below to see a few of my favorites…
I love how cozy this space feels! By adding layers of blankets and pillows you can make your home feel warm and inviting for the holidays, even the stockings tie in!
I love the simplicity of this tree in a metal bucket, it ties in perfectly to the rustic farmhouse style decor in the home. Sometimes you don’t need a lot of fancy ornaments to get that holiday look.

This image combines elements of the two previous homes. Warm layers are brought in with blankets, pillows and a fur table runner giving a soft and warm feeling, which is mixed with a fresh natural element of greens in metal tins. This look is casual and inviting, perfect for all of the places your family likes to gather.
How cute is this bar cart setup? I love when decor is brought throughout the full house and incorporated in many different ways.

This dining room by Liz Marie is a perfect example that neutral decorations can be just as impactful as colorful ones. I love the clean mix of white in conjunction with the fresh greens. Her home is always spectacular.

I love the idea of mixing up your wall decor for the holidays as well. You can go all out by taking down some of your current pieces and replacing them with signs like the one below to really get a festive feeling.

Another idea is to bring in holiday elements in unexpected places, like the mudroom bench below. The wreath, garland, sign and pillow make this functional corner of the home festive and fun!

I love this hot cocoa bar so much I will definitely be replicating this in my own home. Perfect for parties and holiday events and simple to put together, it’s a must add to your holiday home design.

There is something about having two trees of different sizes side by side that makes a major impact. The color palette is very consistent throughout this space with all elements flowing together seamlessly. This is one of my all time favorite holiday pins!

This tree by Randi Garett design is absolutely breathtaking. It feels so glamorous and over the top you would expect to see it in a beautiful hotel or shopping center. The soft colors keep the design from being too overpowering and help it to tie into its surroundings.
If you have the ceiling height like The Ivory Lane does in the photo below, the lesson is go big or go home!

If you love Christmas as much as I do you might be open to the idea of having more than one tree. I absolutely love the idea of having a tree in your bedroom. There is something so cozy about the lights, I would love getting to enjoy the season in all areas of my home.
The garland in this photo is clean and simple, tied with basic white ribbon but still manages to be classic and timeless. Sometimes less is definitely more.

I love the idea of hanging different sized green wreaths in the windows with a simple red bow, classic Christmas with a contemporary twist.

Here is another simple holiday space. I love this room and I am totally drawn to the warmth and simplicity of it. I’m really feeling the pure greens this year.
